“The Future of Standards in Cybersecurity” Conference

National Institute of Telecommunications with technical subcommittee ISO / IEC JTC1 / SC27 “Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection” and Polish Chamber of Commerce for Electronics and Telecommunications organized the conference “The Future of Standards in Cybersecurity” on September 17th this year. The 2nd stream of the conference (Evaluation and certification – new challenges and opportunities) was moderated by dr. Elżbieta Andrukiewicz, who was one of the three main moderators during the conference and who is also KSO3C Project Manager; head of the safety assessment laboratory at NIT; ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 standardization expert and international standards editor (Common Criteria and Common Evaluation Methodology).

The conference was an opportunity to discuss and promote cybersecurity standards and their importance in the age of global ICT networks and mobility. It drew over 430 participants from 40 countries and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants and experts. The National Institute of Telecommunications promoted its image as the leader of R&D in cybersecurity in Poland.
