17th International Common Criteria Conference
The 17th International Common Criteria Conference took place in Amsterdam from 30 October to 1 November 2019. The conference assembled many professionals involved in application and development of Common Criteria. The conference was an opportunity to professionally exchange information and experience of persons responsible for specification, development, evaluation, certification and approval in relation to IT security of products and systems.
During the conference many discussion panels were held. Among them was a panel called:
THE REVISION OF ISO/IEC 15408, 18045 AND THE TR22216
This is important to us for two reasons:
- The new edition of the Common Criteria family standards will be the basis for the Polish scheme for evaluating and certifying security of ICT products and services, which is to be the outcome of the KSO3C project
- One of the editors of the ISO/IEC 150408 series is Elżbieta Andrukiewicz – KSO3C project manager.
During the panel discussion, a group of editors briefly presented the progress of work, and then answered questions received from the panel leader and from the panel listeners, on topics related to corrections.
The panel was led by Miguel Bañon, chairman of the ISO working group responsible for the draft of new standards. In the panel participated also members of the editing team: Elżbieta Andrukiewicz, Tony Boswell, Kwangwoo Lee, Carolina Lavatelli and Fiona Pattinson.
Below is included the presentation presented during the panel.
