Official PCA accreditation for both laboratories participating in KSO3C
We are proud to announce that the IT Security Evaluation Facility Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG and the IT Security Evaluation Facility – National Institute of Telecommunications (ITSEF NIT) have received the accreditation of the Polish Center for Accreditation. The scopes of accreditation can be found on the PCA website, respectively, at AB 1781 and AB 1787. PCA accreditation confirms the technical ability of both laboratories to carry out security assessments of ICT products (devices consisting of hardware and software components and software). To obtain accreditation, laboratories must pass an audit carried out by auditors and experts from PCA. The purpose of the audit is to confirm compliance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018-02. The accreditation of laboratories was one of the most important milestones on the way to the success of the KSO3C project, which is obtaining the ability of the Polish scheme for the assessment and certification of ICT products in accordance with the Common Criteria to issue commonly recognized certificates. Both the Information IT Security Evaluation Facility – National Institute of Telecommunications and the IT Security Evaluation Facility – Łukasiewicz-EMAG have entered the exclusive club of accredited ICT security assessment laboratories (ITSEF), of which there are only a few dozen in the world.
