ISO Committee meeting in Paris
On October 14-18 2019 a meeting of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC27 technical standardization subcommittee “Information Security, CyberSecurity and Data Protection” took place in Paris.
SC27 is the referential source of international standards on information security, cybersecurity, cryptography, network security and privacy, which are just a few topics for which the subcommittee coordinates work.
The meeting SC27 was attended by dr inż. Elżbieta Andrukiewicz. Her busy week was filled with work on the new edition of the ISO/IEC 27005 Information Security Risk Management standard (as an editor) as well as on ISO/IEC 15408 (5 parts) and ISO/IEC 18045 standards, commonly known as Common Criteria and Common Evaluation Methodology (dr Andrukiewicz is a co-editor of the first part of ISO/IEC 15408). We are pleased to announce that by decision of the SC27 member countries, dr Andrukiewicz became the chairwoman of the newly formed SC27 Advisory Group on Terminology.
